Bench turned Coffee Table

I bought an entry way bench for P when he lived alone because he had no place to sit in his entire house besides his desk chair and couch. At the time it was only $7 and needed reupholstering. It got the job done for years. Recently P and I have been downsizing in anticipating for our move up North and were trying to decide what to keep and what to part with. We really didn’t have use for a bench anymore but it seemed such a shame to just get rid of it. So I stripped the piece of all upholstery, painted the legs bright yellow, and use this DIY faux marble tutorial to create a marble finish (it turned more Zebra than marble). Now we use it as a coffee table that work really well for our small space. I still want to put an epoxy finish on it, but that will have to wait for another day.
